David Chazam

David Votre Chazam is a Franco-Belgian underground musical activist and composer whose work sits at the singular crossroads of pop and experimentation. With a career spanning decades—from the 80s scene in Poitiers to the disco waves of Bordeaux—he is a prolific sound designer, radio host, and stage performer.

Notably, Chazam was the "spiritual son" and long-time collaborator of electronic music pioneer JEAN-JACQUES PERREY, producing the albums "Eclectronics" and "ELA".

Now based in Brussels, he runs the Travail&Loisirs recording studio, fronts the electropunk band Monique Sonique, and hosts the monthly radio creation program "Du Futur Faisons Table Rase."
