SCHLEU was formed in 2018 by musicians from Lyon (France) already active in other bands from this scene such as LE DEATH TO MANKIND, SURŸABONALI, TORTICOLI, TOMBOUCTOU, COUGAR DISCIPLINE...
The band strips and breaks traditional genres down, scrapes them to the core, then clots the remains into a hurricane of salutary anger.
It might sound like a math rock band but it's way too out of control for this genre.
Some might think that it's a metal quartet but they are really too noisy.
It would be best to define Schleu as a super acrobatic noise rock band that doesn't take itself too seriously, with a singer who belts a teratogenic poetry about major themes like cucurbits and deviant mammals, lard and micturition.
